vitamin A Microcapsule Preparation

Vitamin A is A fat-soluble vitamin, which has various physiological functions such as promoting growth, reproduction,

 maintaining bone, epithelial tissue, vision and normal secretion of mucous epithelium, etc. Vitamin A and its analogues

 have the effect of preventing precancerous lesions.




Technical background


Vitamin A1 contains 5 unsaturated double bonds, and vitamin A2 contains 6 unsaturated double bonds, so the chemical 

properties of vitamin A are very unstable, and it is easy to oxidization and deterioration when exposed to oxygen in the air. 

In the production practice, in order to improve the chemical stability of vitamin A and prolong the storage time, suitable polymer

 embedding materials such as Arabic gum, gelatin, β-cyclodextrin, carrageenan, denatured starch, etc., are usually selected, and 

processed into microcapsule preparations by emulsion embedding and fluidized-bed spray granulation, and then added to food

and drugs.

Experimental technology


1. Weigh a certain amount of water, stir while adding water-soluble materials, stirring temperature control until the material 

dissolves;


2. Weigh A certain amount of oil phase vitamin A sample, heating temperature control solution;


3. The beaker containing the water phase is placed in the constant temperature water bath, and the oil phase is slowly added

 during high-speed shear to make vitamin A microcapsule emulsion;


4.ATS microcapsule embedding machine high pressure treatment 3 times;

After three treatments, the permeability of the sample was significantly enhanced, and the back pattern could be clearly seen at

 the third time, meeting customer expectations.
